I am a teacher that brings the world of music to life for the student. I want to teach more than the notes on the page or the rhythms. I teach students how those notes relate to the real world. Ultimately, music is more than just sounds played in an organized fashion for an audience of 1 or more; it is about learning stamina, training the brain, learning a new language, feeling emotion, confronting fears, determination in the face of failure, and the joy of success after hard work. These are lif
e lessons and that is what I am teaching. Music is just the medium for teaching those life lessons.
