ARTS Resources for the Tri-State is a 501(c)3 arts organization in Huntington, West Virginia. ARTS strives to be a full-service resource for all of the visual and performing arts in the Tri-State Area of West Virginia, Ohio & Kentucky. Inside the ARTS Renaissance Center (the old Huntington High School) at 900 8th Street in Huntington, ARTS houses the Tri-State Youth Orchestra, River Magic Chorus, a Fine Art Gallery, a photography studio and a year-round live theatre. Board of Directors runs the ARTS Cotillion every year, as well as the ARTS Candlelight House Tour during the holidays. The ARTS theatre wing runs a six-show season and has a Resident Company of actors and technicians that audition each year, as well as having guest artists, actors and technicians audition for each individual show as they come up during the season. The 2013 season was a tremendous success, with these hit shows: Cabaret, Julius Caesar, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, The Man Who Came To Dinner, Shenandoah and Neil Simon's Laughter on the 23rd Floor. The upcoming 2014 season includes: Twelve Angry Men, Pirates of Penzance, The Boy Friend, Much Ado About Nothing, Crazy For You and Rabbit Hole. With two playing spaces, the mainstage Renaissance Theatre and the smaller, more intimate blackbox space, The Renaissance Ballroom, ARTS is the only year-long theatre in Huntington with two stages, other than Marshall University.
