Full-body massages are generally performed in 60 or 90 minute sessions; however, a 30 minute massage focused on a specific area provides opportunities for relaxation thus providing an increase in well-being, reducing stress and boosting the body’s immune system. Services may be combined for your personal needs. A brief description of some of my services follows:
Swedish Massage is a basic relaxing full body massage which may include a variety of massage strokes such as rolling, kneading, and
percussion to help the body improve circulation. Swedish may also include range of motion stretching. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, and greater flexibility.
Therapeutic Massage may include the use of one or more techniques such as muscle energy techniques, myofascial release, and trigger point to address client specific issues. This process can be painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative. Client feedback during the session is necessary. May or may not include a full body massage depending on the number of issues addressed and the time allotted. Appointments may be scheduled for 60, 90, or 120 minutes.
