A graduate of the University of Washington Medical School, Dr. Cannon completed an internship in general surgery and his orthopedic residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. He also completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at UCLA, in Los Angeles, California.
Prior to joining The Polyclinic, Dr. Cannon was the Assistant Professor, department of orthopaedic oncology, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He has held the position of staff orthopaedic surg
eon, chief orthopedic oncology section with Madigan Army Medical Center and served as orthopedic surgeon, 47th Combat Support Hospital, Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Dr. Cannon has expertise in musculoskeletal tumor surgery (benign and malignant tumors of the soft tissues and bones), total joint replacements (hips and knees), partial knee replacements (MAKOplasty® and the Biomet Oxford), ACL reconstruction and arthroscopic surgery.
