ofessionals and policy makers grappling with how to improve healthcare. Kenwood Complete Dentistry will utilize some of the most innovative technology currently available in the industry. For instance, the practice will use digital x-rays that create more detailed images that allow for better, more accurate diagnoses, while reducing radiation by up to 90%. Soft tissue lasers will allow for easier surgical procedures, reducing patient discomfort afterwards while speeding healing times. In addition, digital patient records will allow for more accurate and up-to-date data as well as easier and more timely sharing of files with other doctors. Digital records also offer greater security and, therefore, patient privacy and confidentiality. “Medical technology doesn’t amount to anything if it’s just flashy bells and whistles with no patient benefit,” said Dr. Sherman. “We have invested in technology that actually makes a difference in patient care.” Kenwood Complete Dentistry is also at the forefront of patient amenities. Televisions in the treatment rooms will increase patient comfort and help pass the time, particularly during longer procedures such as crowns, veneers and implants. A décor with soothing colors and comfortable furniture enhance the patient experience by feeling more like a home than an office. “Historically speaking, visiting the dentist has been so-so, at best, downright frustrating or scary, at worst,” said Dr. Pelchovitz. “It’s our aim to not only make an appointment with us as positive as possible, but productive and maybe even a tad bit of fun, too.” Kenwood Complete Dentistry is located at 5050 East Galbraith Road, Suite C, Cincinnati, Ohio 45236—directly across from the Kenwood Towne Center at the intersection of Kenwood and Galbraith Roads.
