A Step Above Property Management was started in 2009. I own and operate the company. I believe that every owner wants to find that "perfect tenant" As well; every tenant believes they are that perfect tenant,
and I believe that somewhere in the middle is perfect.
The value I can bring to an owner or to a potential tenant is that I can answer any questions they may have, or any concerns they may have I do my best to put them to rest.
I have been a licensed broker since 1994 I became interest
ed in property management in 2000. We were living in California and license laws are a lot different from Colorado, so I worked for a large Property Management Co, I found that I liked it and I excelled at it, so when we moved back to GJ I took a job with another property management company. I found I really liked it, so I decided to open my own company, That is how A Step Above Property Management was founded. We are not a huge company we have 2 full time maintenance people, 1 person that helps with leasing, and then the accountant that keeps the money flowing. Then of course my self that does a bit of everything.
We will manage tenant's that are interested in your property, we run credit and background, verify income, verify employment, talk to previous landlords further back than just from were they are moving from.
Between the owner and my self we will set the rental price, we take anywhere from 150 to 300 pictures prior to any move-in and when tenants vacate; so we have proof of condition, so there are not any surprises. We send them a letter telling them what we expect to be done, and if it is not they will charged for any damage, cleaning and maintenance that is due to tenant neglect.
And when rent is posted and any and all bills are paid then they owner get their owner disbursement for the month.
