Through counseling, we can address your current challenges and stressors, as well as past issues that may still be troubling for you. By working together, we can find ways for you to reduce stress, depression, feelings of panic, or anxiety that may be holding you back.
I work with adults and adolescents to explore ways to cope with issues including anxiety, panic, trauma/PTSD, depression, adjustment to life changes, illness/chronic pain, and relationship/interpersonal problems. In our sessions, a number of different approaches may be used based on your specific needs.
I believe it is important for a client and therapist to work as a team to address your needs within a comfortable and safe environment. I use therapy techniques best suited to your style of learning and communicating so that you have the opportunity to experience greater confidence, motivation, and self-awareness. My work history involves working with clients in individual and group settings to address issues including anxiety, panic, trauma (violence, abuse, or sexual trauma), depression and mood disorders, and adjustment issues.
