Tune-Up includes: - Consultation to determine best head choices. - Remove all heads and inspect bearing edges of drums; smooth as needed. - Precision tuning of drums, double checked with DrumDial tension gauge. - Tuning customized to the drummer's genre of choice. - Custom professional positioning of whole kit for optimum ergonomic advantage. - Advice for best sounding muting and overtone control (especially for recording). - Free Guide to Drum Set Tuning. - Bass drum mic holes cut on request. - Lubricate tension rods. All in the comfort of your own practice/ recording space! Appointments are available almost any time! Service takes about an hour for a standard kit. Technician has tuned and repaired instruments for Plymouth-Canton schools, Novi schools, Catholic Central HS, Wayne State University, and countless recording studio sessions.
