Hospice and Palliative Care of Washington County is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality and compassionate care for patients and families experiencing a life limiting illness.
We have the reputation and community trust that only comes from 30 years of providing excellence in end-of-life care, education and bereavement services to thousands of families.
Hospice is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and other health plans however we will care for any patient regardless of a
patient's ability to pay. Charitable care is made available through the generous contributions of donors to Hospice & Palliative Care of Washington County.
Hospice & Palliative Care of Washington County’s unique Palliative Care Program is operated as a separate program from Hospice. As a community support program funded almost entirely through community contributions Transitions is offered to those who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, but are still seeking curative treatment. Using a combination of active and compassionate therapies the, program's goal is to prevent or treat the symptoms of the illness and the side effects caused by treatment challenges. This includes addressing psychological, social and spiritual challenges related to the illness or treatment.
