Custom Trans Inc. was founded in September of 1989 by Chris Herrmann. After working in the evenings on transmissions at home in a 600 square foot garage, he decided to open a full-time shop. Chris had a full-time job when he then moved into a 2400 square foot building, which forced him to leave his job behind for a better business opportunity.
