He is a board-certified surgeon specializing in the treatment of patients with venous disorders. Graduating cum laude, he received his medical degree at University of Barcelona Medical School in his native Spain. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York where he was chief surgical resident. He is affiliated with Beth Israel Medical Center and an adjunct at Lenox Hill Hosp
